You replace the original nock on your arrow with this one. You press the Lumenok nock in just until it lights. A lot of people prefer to press it in until it lights, then give it a gentle rock until it turns off. With having the Lumenok in the correct position and in your arrow you are ready to fire. Simply place the nock into the bow string as you normally do, eye your target, and fire. This time, with the lighted Lumenok nock installed, you arrow will look like a red tracer bullet. You will see a long red streak light up the sky as your arrow flies. This is very beneficial as you can now see the flight path that your arrow takes.

Lumenoks are activated by the force applied to it at the release of the arrow. The archer is able to follow the path of his arrow to his target. In the case of an errant shot, the lighted nock will make finding your arrow much easier, saving time and the cost of the arrow. The Lumenok is visible for great distances in the dark. It can remain lit for 40 hours, allowing an archer to return hours after a shot to retrieve an arrow. Keep that in mine while hunting. This nock can make it easier to find a wounded animal after the sun sets.
